What's your professional background?
Having spent 12 years in the RAF as a senior engineer on the AWACS aircraft (what is this?) where we deployed and managed teams across the world to train with NATO fighter jet squadrons. As an engineer I broadened my qualifications to business IT and infrastructure, and website development techniques. This is where my passion to fill in the gap with online strategies came in as the ever evolving world of the internet showed the potential for online businesses to take a major step toward greater success.

Tell us about a typical day at ICE Innovation for you...
A typical day can include a meeting with a new, potential client discussing the opportunities their business has online and the benefits of working with us to achieve ultimate success. Followed by a website strategy meeting with a current client who wants to take their website further and achieve even greater results through online marketing.
What are your passions outside of work?
Golf, snow boarding, films and high quality red wine - Because let's face it, life is too short for cheap red wine :)
Name three people who really inspire you and why?
- Sammy Blindell.... simply the best creative and brand strategy expert I have ever met and the jewel in the crown of the company.
- Lyndon Ogden... integrity is this man's middle name and as an online marketing genius he makes what I do an absolute joy.
- Richard Branson... nearly as inspiring as the two above and is quite literally an inspiration to us all.
Do you have a claim to fame?
I was privileged to show the Australian Prime Minister and Defence Minister around our AWACS aircraft during an airshow and convinced them that it would be a good purchase for the Australian Air Force, after which their government purchased four. If only I had been on commission!!
