
FAQ: Should we train our employees on our branding strategy?
Think of your employees as potentially walking, talking, living, breathing billboards. Pump them up about the name, logo and strapline. Train them to be community ambassadors in your marketing campaign. Reward them when you find them doing it right.
If you have strategic partners who are also talking about your brand on your behalf, do the same with them.
At the very least, you need to answer the following questions and then make sure your team are trained so that when asked one of the following questions, they all answer the same thing:
- Who are you?
- Who needs to know?
- How will they find out?
- Why should they care?
- How do you want them to respond?
